Max Films creates content that helps build brands. We co-produced a documentary short selected for the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. We’re creative, resourceful and fast. We’ve worked with diverse clients through Bentley, ITV and Hertz to the Florida Tourist Board, Channel 5 TV and Britishvolt. Everything from social media shorts to corporate productions.

The Reality of Hope bridges the worlds between VRChat and reality by following a profound friendship created in VR that blossoms into an act of selfless generosity.
Hiyu, a VR creator in Stockholm, is battling imminent kidney failure. His online friend from New York, Photographotter, hears the news and spontaneously volunteers to donate his kidney, which ultimately saves Hiyu’s life.
Set within the colourful backdrop of the VR furry community, The Reality of Hope is a short film officially selected by the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. The core narratives of the film are kindness, resilience, sacrifice, and how blending the virtual and real worlds can create a love that conquers continents.
